You will be given separate accounts for University-wide computers and for Informatics computers.
University-wide facilities
- Your University Login. This account gives you access to most University-wide facilities - things like MyEd (the University's web portal) and Office 365 (email, Teams, Office Apps etc). It's sometimes called EASE. Your username for this account is an s and your student number (for example s2345678).
- Wireless account. This account lets you use the University WiFi network (eduroam)
Informatics facilities
- DICE account. This account is for School of Informatics facilities - for example, the DICE computers in the student labs in Appleton Tower. Your username for this account is an s and your student number (for example s1234567).
For security, you must choose a different password for each account!
