First Lab Instructions
  • The lab notebook referred to in the instructions is in this Github repository: https://github.com/Inf2-FDS/FDS-S1-01-introduction
  • If you don't know Python, you may want to work through the Informatics 2 – Introduction to Algorithms and Data Structures (IADS) Lab Sheet 1: Getting started in Python. If you're taking Inf2-IADS, you will cover this sheet in the first lab of the course. It's better to know python basics before using pandas and other libraries in Jupyter notebooks, but we think you'll still get something out of task (2) even if you don't know Python yet.
