What are labs for?
Inf2-SEPP labs are an opportunity for you to join your coursework team in working on your coursework and asking questions of the lab demonstrators. The demonstrators can answer questions about the theory and both the SE and the ProP parts of the coursework. It is best if you prepare a list of questions for the demonstrators in advance of each lab.
Moreover, there are other special activities going on in labs:
- The Tuesday labs are also a Q&A for SE part, with the SE lecturer present
- The Friday labs are also a Q&A for the ProP part, with the ProP lecturer present
- During Week 2 labs, you will be encouraged to get to know you coursework team by doing a short ice breaker exercise, and to start using a list of teamwork resources that can help with your teamwork
- During CW1 and CW2 labs, you will have the opportunity to interview lab demonstrators playing the role of potential users of the system you will develop for assessment, for the coursework
- During CW3 labs, you will have the opportunity to conduct a peer code review for CW3
