Task: Preparation for S1 Week 9 Workshop

The preparation for S1 Week 9 Workshop on Interpretation of a data science study using multiple regression - should be helpful for understanding this week's lecture materials, and Coursework 2.

Lab

The lab is on Linear Models, the topic of the lectures in S1 weeks 6 and 8. Note that there will only be one drop-in lab session, on Thursday.

Topic: Mathematics of multiple regression

This is material from previous years that contain the derivation of the expression for the regression coefficients. We're not expecting you to memorise the derivation in an exam, but understanding the maths may satisfy your curiosity and deepen your understanding of multiple regression.
