ADS - Course Information
This page contains important information related to the ADS course.
Lectures
There will be two lectures per week, from Week 1 to Week 10. In particular:
- Mondays, 16.10-17.00 at Elizabeth Templeton Lecture Room - New College.
- Thursdays, 16.10 - 17.00 at LG.11 - 40 George Square Lower Teaching Hub.

Tutorials
Tutorials will take place each week, from Week 3 to Week 10. There will be two tutorial groups:
- Wednesdays, 14.10 - 16.00 at G.01 - Classroom 1 - High School Yards Teaching Centre.
- Fridays, 14.10- 16.00 at 1.2 - Lister Learning and Teaching Centre.
Please check your timetable to see which group you have been assigned to. If you would like to switch groups, please let the Teaching Assistant (Kat Molinet) know.
Tutorial Format: For each tutorial, you will be given a set of problems to work on. You are expected to work on those before you show up to the tutorial, and then discuss the solutions with the tutor at the tutorial. Notice that contrary to previous years, tutorials appear on your timetable as 2-hour slots (rather than 1-hour). The tutor will be present during the second hour (at 15.10); the first hour is for you to meet with other students and work on the tutorial problems together. You are still encouraged to work on the problems at home, but if you don't have the time, at least try to work on them during the first hour of the 2-hour tutorial slot.
The problems for each tutorial will be posted on the Wednesday of the week before the tutorial. Solutions will be posted on Friday after both groups have had their tutorials.
