The assessment for this course consists of one coursework (30% of overall mark) and a final exam (70%)

Coursework

The coursework is practical and requires programming in Python. Labs will provide you with practical experience that will help you in the coursework. The coursework will be made available through Learn, under the Assessment item. Important dates (also available under the Coursework Planner item in Learn) are:

• 26 February 2026: Coursework released
• 19 March 2026, 12:00: Coursework due
• 9 April 2026: Feedback returned
