Entrepreneurship & Innovation Project 2024

Week-10: Tuesday, 26th March & Thursday, 28th March

Week-10 of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Project will serve as an opportunity for students to collectively reflect on the course expectations for a final project that gets a good grade. The students will also get some final feedback on how to give a good business pitch presentation.

Week 10, Lesson 10:  Business Plan Website Feedback & Geo-spatial Interfaces for Hardware & Small Language Models & Business Budgeting Fundamental Revisited & Review of 24-Steps & Value Proposition Revisited.

Learning Outcomes:

Week-10 will cover all 5 learning outcomes. The course organizer will review all the key themes covered in the course, as final preparation for students to submit their business plan project. Students will have the opportunity to work on their business plans during class time.

Student Assignment for Week-10:

  • Students should make their websites live and available to the course organiser, in whatever form they are: They will, however, only be assessed based on their output at the end of week 11.
  • Students have the opportunity to have their business plans, websites, and video pitches assessed by an EIP course guest who has been commercially successful in the Scottish video game industry.

Hardware and Software Labs for Week-10:

  • Tuesday Lab: Conclusion to Public Speaking Training
  • Thursday Lab 1: Conclusion to Software Training in TinkerCAD, ArcGIS, Large Language Modelling, Financial Statements.
  • Thursday Lab 2: Conclusion to Hardware Prototyping, with a focus on designing software for small hardware devices.
