Entrepreneurship & Innovation Project 2024

Week-2: Tuesday, 23rd January & Thursday, 25th January

Week 2 of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Project will cover Learning Outcome 2: Communicate the process of developing a commercial product through understanding the value of a business model and through the value of a successful Founding Team. 

Week 2, Lesson 2: What is Team-Based Entrepreneurship? What is a Business Plan? Forming Effective Teams & Introduction to Good Teams based on Individual Strengths.

Week-2 Summary

Key Themes for Week 2:

  • Expanding on the Concept of Value Proposition from a Business Model Perspective

  • Team Formation/Coherency/Communication and Project Planning;

  • Thinking about Social Accessibility and Teamwork Accessibility;

  • Introduction to Public Speaking for Pitching a Business Idea;

  • Dig Deeper into Business Model Navigator using Disciplined Entrepreneurship and the Value Proposition Framework.

Student Submissions for Week 2:


Students provide another reflective blog, based on Feedback from Week 1; and reflections on how they individually contribute to their strengths of their group, given the value proposition that they define from the Human Development Index (due Thursday of Week 3).

  • Thursday Lab 1: Introduction to Geospatial Analysis

  • Thursday Lab 2: Introduction to Reverse Engineering Computer Hardware; Building a holographic device.
