DICE-UG: Connecting to DICE from your own device

You can use DICE computers from your own device, from home or whilst on campus.

There are two different ways to access DICE: on the command line using ssh, or you can have a full desktop session using the remote desktop (also called xrdp) service.

If you are accessing remotely, when outside of the University Eduroam WiFi then you will firstly need to connect to the University's VPN service.
