Monday Q&A session

S2 Week 03 Q&A

This session was mainly Q&A, in which we covered:

  • Deciphering stats reported in papers
  • Citation formats
  • Graphical representation of confidence intervals
  • A partially-completed class demo of confidence intervals

Here we're sharing the solution to the class confidence interval demo questions, and a notebook with the both the graphical representation of uncertainty examples, and what the results might have looked like from the class demo (except that we get python to do the sampling with replacement, rather than members of the class.)

Jupyter notebooks

The attached Jupyter notebook is the one used to demonstrate graphical representation of confidence intervals, and how we compute confidence intervals.
