INF2-FDS: Lab logistics

Lab sessions will be held weekly in AT6.06 in S1 and the early part of S2; the times should appear in your personal timetable. The links to each week's lab session notebook will appear in Course Materials.

Although you will be assigned a lab session, if you can't make your session for any reason, it's OK to drop in to another one, as long as there is space. You can find all the lab times in Course Information.

In week 1, there will be a paper handout, to help you get started. You have a choice of ways to run the labs:

1. The University of Edinburgh Notable service - you just need a web browser for it to work - see below for details.
2. Setting up a python/Jupyter environment - should work on a DICE machine or your own machine.
