Welcome to the ninth week of the Natural Computing course! 

• Lecture 9p (principal) on  Metaheuristics and Neural Networks (slides).
• Lecture 9s (supplementary) on  Swarm Robotics and Nanorobotics (slides).
• The material of this week is not examinable, although it is included in order to connect the course material to recent developments in the field and to highlight a relationships to a few other subjects.
• Lecture recordings will be available on Learn.
• Self-study questions (Attempt questions first, then check answers). These questions are not considered towards the course mark, but they can be useful to check and to deepen your understanding. The answers can be further discussed in the Q&A sessions.
