Week 3: Fast Feedback
Hello and welcome back to week 3!
By now, you should have formed your groups and started to look at the assignment. While it is formative, it forms the basis for the following courseworks.
After looking at design requirements last week, we look at the design iteration process now. Usually, we begin with a low fidelity prototype, for example on paper, which we then review, test and refine. An effective way to iterative quickly over various designs is to use fast feedback. The idea is that you create a simple mock up, engage in a quick activity to gather useful feedback, which you then use when improving the design. While going through this cycle multiple times, your design will get better and more detailed, evolving from low to high fidelity like figma mock ups.
This week's videos will all focus on how to create a design mock-up and how to use fast feedback methods to improve it.
