INF2D: Week 2: Informed Search and Using Constraints, Adversarial Search
This week we continue to study search strategies, and we focus on two types of algorithms. First, we are going to look at search algorithms which use additional knowledge to the information available from the problem formulation, in:
4: Informed Search Algorithms.
Then we will look at a special category of smart search algorithms in:
5: Smart Searching using Constraints.
We will complete our review of search strategies with a discussion of competitive environments, in which the goals of the agents are in conflict:
6: Adversarial Search (cancelled, moved to 28 Jan)
If there is anything you don't understand, then you can:
- Ask during the lecture (including on stream!);
- Post a question on Piazza;
- Ask your tutor.
