Week 4: Evaluation
Welcome back to week 4.
This week we have some exciting guests. Heather Hepburn, the Accessibility Lead at Skyscanner, will come in on Tuesday to tell us more about how Accessibility is done at Skyscanner. She will bring some simulations so you can experience different disabilities and tell us more about how to test and evaluate specifically for accessibility. She will give us a glimpse of applying HCI methods in the real world. If you are interested to look at the introduction of champions of accessibility at skyscanner, check out these links:

Because of our guest lecture, this week's video load will be lower. We will begin looking at how to evaluate a system and why we should do that in the first place. The second video will cover usability heuristics. They are at the core of usability testing. You’ll be using those heuristics to evaluate CW1's designs, so pay close attention and note all questions and thoughts to discuss on Friday.
Note: While the evaluation video mentions tutorials, we do not have tutorials. We will engage in similar exercises during our Friday session.
Feedback Form
We always try to improve our teaching and create an excellent learning experience for you. Please fill out this form to understand what works well and what we need to change.
